Detention Night in London

Detention is the name of just one of the nights organised by Ishmael Skyes from The Firm. The other events include Night Of The Cane, The Boat Party and Burn’s Night (a celebration of all things Scottish) and various other ideas that they (the committee) conjure up on an ad-hock basis. They are a team, a bunch of enthusiasts, rather that a money making machine. The majority of them have been on the London fetish scene 25+ years and whilst they are not wearing the latest latex colours and styles, they are proper fetishists and love nothing more than a get-together for a good thrashing!

If you want to hark back to days gone-by or experience what it used to be like pre-internet, or are over 50, then this is the night for you. It’s like a lovely comfy pair of slippers, welcoming and simple. Then before you know it, someone has got the canes out and it’s time for a good larruping. Which is a word that can be traced back through many centuries. First known use: circa 1820. Very fitting, I would say!
