With some of the world’s strongest labels in store, award-winning Sydney retailer Max Black has established a reputation for being Australia’s best place to shop for latex and fetish fashion.
The Rubber Room, a large dedicated stand-alone space inside Max Black, now holds the country’s leading latex fashion collection with Honour, Libidex, Rubber55, Skin Two & Vivishine in store. Owner Bruce Duncan recently returned from a European tour that will see other labels join the retailer in 2014 for their first installations in Australia – including Something Wicked, Lascivious and latex impresarios DeMask.
It’s not just fetishists shopping here either – local stylists are always asking for pieces. Last year saw their stock appear regularly on mainstream TV (The X-Factor), in print and even dressing pop stars like Tina Arena for her latest video.
