By night\, I was photographing dominatrixes in the most elegant dungeon in NYC\, The Nutcracker Suite. The dominas were full of energy and the atmosphere was electric in the new fetish clubs on the New York scene. Isabella Sinclaire was the star and my pictures of her were the first in her successful career as a professional dominatrix. Now\, we decided to continue the 1993 photo session and will be working together again on a new series of exclusive images that you will see for the first time on Saturday 11th September 2021. Also included in this unique show\, new pictures of the dominas attending the party. \nBeyond is a collection of 108 photographs depicting BDSM scenes captured from 1981 to 2014. DESCRIPTION:We are proud to announce the mixed media exhibition A Glimpse of Kink\, on 22nd- 24th of \nJune 2021\, at the Bateman Gallery of London\, in the heart of Soho. \nThe exhibition will bring together photographers\, performers and practitioners from the British \nand European fetish and kink scene\, aiming to document its most uncompromising and gory \nscenarios\, along with the glossiest aspects of its mainstream aesthetics. \nExpect a unique journey where fetish culture blends with its protagonists’ public and private \nlife in an immersive dialogue between art\, life\, and lifestyles. \nIn times of censorship affecting art\, sexuality and the production of radical content\, the event \nseeks to be an occasion to fight cultural stereotypes and stigmas whilst bringing the community \ntogether. \nA Glimpse of Kink will feature work by Venus Raven\, The London Vagabond and Syn Ariad \nand many other artists and collaborators. \nThe journey starts by showcasing the work of the photographer and active member of the fetish \ncommunity Venus Raven. \nHer approach offers an artistic gaze onto the scene through a variety of themes\, bodies and stories \nwhile challenging the issue of censorship and promoting kink as an emotionally and physically \nsatisfying practice among consenting adults. \nWe then delve into the world of Syn Ariad\, mistress\, fetish muse and artist through the \ndocumentation of her life as a pro-domme; model for international photographers or \nunattainable goddess for slaves and collaborators – as well as seen through her own eyes \nthanks to a series of self-portraits. \nThe exploration of kink as a lifestyle is going to be unravelled in the most embodied way \nthrough the iconic work of The London Vagabond. They are a London-based couple of artists \nand well-established photographers who embrace kink values and aesthetics in their artistic \nand personal journeys. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday 6th June LAM will be taking over an converting an indoor space into a pop-up market and cafe more accessible than our previous 2021 events as you can get there on TFL. \nCatch up on the latest creations from some of the most awesome suppliers in the world as LAM reboots inside the M25 and offers a hybrid event as we attempt to live stream the audio and workshops from the event and link up live with healthy mental practices.\nAll guests will be temperature screened upon arrival\, masks are encouraged and will have up to two hours to shop with the stalls or until 6pm via our contactless video shopping option.  The event is tickets in advance only and due to covid restrictions there will be a cafe open on site as well as toilets as well as a number of options locally for meeting social disctanced. \nTickets are offered in time slots of: \n\n12pm – 2pm\n2pm – 4pm\n4pm – 6pm\n\nPlease bear in mind that this is a difficult time and we ask you to read the instructions sent in advance of the event and to have your tickets ready in advance of your arrival at check in.  Details of how to interact with the video shopping will be sent to all ticket holders in advance\, your purchases can be made contactlessly through a car window and the items loaded into the rear or the boot for you. \nTickets are limited to 100 places per session to ensure that we remain significantly under the capacity of the venue and will be operating a maximum occupancy during each session. \nParking \nThere is plenty of local parking in the street surrounding the venue. Parking on site is reserved for traders. \nCovid regulations  \nThe event is fully compliant with covid regulations and the guidelines for England which apply to all events apply to this one as well. \nSanitation stations are present throughout the event which guests\, crew and traders are encouraged to use. The crew and traders will have all tested with lateral flow test kits on the morning of the event\, we encourage others to do the same now that the kits are more widely available. \nThis is also why all events are currently ticket in advance only and will not be available on the door (or on the day). \nWe look forward to ushering you in at an appropriate distance. \n\nGet more information and tickets here
